EPF Forms Updated List for Employee and Employer
Various EPF Forms are offered by EPFO for employees and employers to avail services for different purposes. India is moving toward digitalization. for employees. Employees need to use the appropriate form to claim any services related to Provident Fund Pension, Withdrawal benefit, Scheme certificate, Advance, etc. The complete list of EPF forms are mentioned below:
- EPF Form 2 Nomination (Nomination and Declaration): It is submitted for the nomination and declaration of the family member of EPF & EPS covered employee. Previously, After joining of the new employee in the establishment, he was directed to fill the Form No. 2. It was submitted in hardcopy to the concerned PF office along with relevant supporting documents of ID and address proofs. However, EPFO has now updated their portal, and employees may submit Form 2 online mode by choosing the option available on the unified member portal.
- EPF Form 11 revised: When an employee joins the company, the new employee is given Form 11 revised form to be filled, which contains all the information related to the employee, his old UAN and PF number, bank details, Aadhar and PAN. The employer generates a new UAN number for the employee as per the details in his company's PF code, and if the old number is available, then they link it.
- EPF Form 31 (Application for Advance from the PF funds): This form is submitted by the employee only to claim the advance amount from his earned PF account available in his PF account. It is submitted only on the working status of an employee where the employee is in working and their contribution has been submitted in their PF or UAN account. Employees can submit this EPF Form 31 to get advance EPF funds for marriage, illness, Property purchases, Education, Natural disasters, etc.
- EPF Composite Claim form (Aadhar or Non-Aadhar): This form includes 3 different EPF Form No.19 (EPF final settlement) /EPF Form No.10C (Pension withdrawal benefits) / EPF Form No.31 (PF Non-refundable advance) in only 1 form which is EPF composite claim form. It is submitted by the employee to settle his PF Account by withdrawing the entire amount available in their PF and EPS account. The employee will be eligible to submit this form only on the status of an employee where the employee left the establishment for any reason and has not joined another establishment.
- EPF Form 19: This form is submitted for withdrawal of the EPF Funds deposited in Account number 1 and Account number 10 as PF contributions of Employee share and Employer share. Employees are eligible to submit this claim only on condition that they left the organization from where their contribution was deposited during their service period and have not joined any establishment.
- EPF Form 10C: This form is related to EPS fund and pension. Employee may withdraw the entire amount that is deposited as a Pension share in their PF account. There is a condition of service period for approval of the claim. Employee EPF Form 10 for pension withdrawal is approved in the case where the employee's service period is above 6 months and below 9.6 months or If the employee's service period is above then the employee is eligible to claim EPS Certificate only, which can be linked to other EPS certificate or EPF account related to pension disburse to an employee after attaining age of 58 years.
- Form 15G: This form submission is considered as a declaration submitted by a person (below 60 years) or a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) to any Government Department or authority to declare that their total income for the financial year is below the taxable limit. This declaration ensures that no Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is deducted from their interest income, including interest earned on Provident Fund (PF).
All necessary EPF Forms and documents can be filled and prepared/drafted by us to faciliate Employee and Employer to avail the service of EPFO. The forms and documents also can be submitted at EPF offices by us. We also deal with EPF Officials on behalf of the Employer as a representative if required in some cases.
